The Master of Business Administration (Aviation) – MBA Aviation is designed to equip professionals with advanced management skills and strategic mindset to build a successful career in the aviation industry. Learning journey

Semester 1 (First 6 months): Management foundations & research mindset

Students engage with core concepts of strategic management, establish foundations in academic research, and gain an initial understanding of specialized aviation operational models.

→ Objective: Master corporate management principles, business research methodologies, and the foundational structure of airport infrastructure.

Semester 2 (Middle 6 months): Advanced management, innovation & specialized crisis handling

This stage deepens expertise in change management, driving strategic growth, and developing the capacity to respond to industry-specific disruptions through practical case studies.

→ Objective: Cultivate innovation capability, change management strategies for sustainable development, and hands-on aviation crisis management skills.

Semester 3 (Final 6 months): Applied research

Students synthesize their comprehensive management knowledge, analytical thinking, and research methodologies accumulated throughout the program to execute an independent research project.

→ Objective: Address a specific contemporary challenge within an aviation enterprise or the broader market, demonstrating executive-level analysis and decision-making capabilities.

Semester 3: Master’s research project

2027 Intake: 15 – 30 students 

Academic Requirements: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business – classification Good or above.
• Applicants holding a Bachelor’s degree in non-Economics or non-Business fields must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:

1. A minimum of two (02) years of relevant professional work experience.
2. The undergraduate degree demonstrates foundational knowledge compatible with the joint program.

Bachelor’s degrees by foreign higher education institutions or joint programmes must be notarized, translated into Vietnamese, and accompanied by an official Degree Recognition Certificate issued by the Vietnam National Center for Academic Recognition (VN-NARIC) under the Ministry of Education and Training.

English Language Proficiency: Applicants must satisfy one of the following standards:

• IELTS Academic 6.5 (no sub-score below 6.0) or equivalent
• Level 4 according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam.

Exemption Criteria: The English entrance requirement is waived for applicants who:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) majoring in English Language.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from a programme fully taught and assessed in English (supported by an official confirmation letter from the awarding institution).

* All English language certificates must be issued by testing organizations recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

* Certificates must be within their 02-year validity period at the time of application submission.
